The letter below I received from an (English I think) enlightened lady who lives in Greece. It is a kind of answer to my post "The Shenanigans of the Greek Astrological community". This lady is an excellent astrologer too, as one can tell from the way she writes.

You have been a brave lone soul, fruitlessly labouring in the poisonous pit of vipers that is Greece these days, astrologically.

But.... how did you ever imagine they could comprehend you, or astrology? You represent Light, and they are in darkness, and ARE darkness. Didn't you understand?
They are the blind leading the blind. They cannot see.
I just spent hours reading all your very well explained history of "astrology" in Greece, and its "practitioners" these past 25 years, and then of the poison from those "colleagues" against you in your attempts to help establish an Astrological Society in Greece.
I APPLAUD the integrity of the words of the two eloquent supporters who wrote to the "sub-human" ex-colleagues that were blackening your reputation, even slandering you to Mountain Astrologer. It is all a terribly familiar mortal story.
It seems clear you were (I hope not still are?) locked onto a chronic struggle with the dark-side of Scorpio / Pluto, and surrounded by the filth of mischievous intrigue of negative Pisces/Neptune treachery at its worst, all deepest hell in human affairs, this can indeed drive people insane, but you NEVER seemed able to recognise that you were actually battling fruitlessly against THAT. You seemed to imagine you were dealing with reasonable people. I can't understand why. You are an astrologer. Well,on reflection, of course, I can. It's called Life. We often cannot see the Woods for all the trees.
Within you (I believe) is undoubtedly 100% positive Scorpio/Pluto energy: by your appearance, and your being an astrologer, and striving to transform / redeem Greece in this field, but, but, alas, the time arose when you were forced to encounter its evil side, externally. As you know, the Pluto energy will annihilate, and the negative Neptune will bring total disintegration of the self....
....UNTIL THE ASTROLOGER OPENS HIS EYES, UNDERSTANDS, AND WALKS AWAY.
Your true integrity and worth is very clear - in your Bio details, and your internet articles and blogs, and your valiant 2000 & 2001 Symposia, these all speak Volumes of your value to society, and the cosmos. Attracting Robert Hand as Guest is no small achievement.
Believe me, Your honourable and progressive sentiments, and motives, and perfectly high intelligence, do all come out very clearly in everything you write.
I hope you've now Walked Away in simple transcendence, aloof, from the devil; it was all an illusion anyway, inexpertly handled. There should be no scars, no wounds, no regret. You are light-years ahead of modern Greece.
Remember this: (it is from the Cosmos to You): It is YOU who IS the successful, productive, serious astrologer of world-class standard, respected in the wider serious international world of astrology, AND OF serious international standards of decency and integrity!!!!! Unlike them!! How they wrote about you the lady in Argentina (Christina?) is enough to take flesh away from bones. BUT IN IT THEY SHOW THEY ARE SUB-HUMAN.
Keep your mind OFF how modern Greek charlatans pervert astrology, and how the cretinous masses pay them a fortune, DON'T pity them, They deserve all they get!!!
AND FORGET too those malignant spoilt little princesses of "the committee" - spoilt babies is all they are.
You can only find fertile soil where it exists. And there is plenty of it outside Greece. THAT is your community. Perhaps Greece has none.
Don't lament over that. Their time has not come.
Or perhaps you were blind to seeing the fertile soil that surely is in Greece, in little pockets. I think you went about searching for them in the wrong way. And you should have been silent with all the charlatans and general public.
Plato said The Greeks Are Always Like Children. Today most of them still are. Not all, but 98%.
Most of them talk far too much. Humility is unacceptable to their egoistic vanity.
Most of them strut and posture, proudly. They fight indiscriminately against all their imagined "oppressors" like arrogant peacocks. Most of them screech, bitch, lament, accuse, and scream, in fury.
They keep their heads in the sand, they blame everyone else for their woes. They refuse to look inward. They refuse to grow up. They never apologise. They never undertake to reform their ideas and behaviour.
They are not ready to receive Astrology, nor to Hear You.
BUT AFTER THE COMING ECONOMIC ARMAGEDDON, and loss of all illusions, and loss of pride, and universal deafness to cries of pain, and spiritual deaths, then no doubt more and more will open their eyes in Greece to a profounder reality and way of living. Maybe then you will have a willing public."
